Warranty & Returns Policy

1. Statutory Baseline

This policy is issued in compliance with the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) Act No. 9 of 2003. It defines your rights as a consumer and our obligations as a seller regarding product quality, fitness for purpose, and trade descriptions.

2. Returns for Transit Damage or Incorrect Items

To ensure a smooth resolution, we categorize immediate fulfillment issues separately from long-term manufacturing defects.

  • Order Arrived Damaged: If your order arrives with physical damage, please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery. You must provide clear photos and videos of both the damaged product and the packaging it arrived in.
  • Defective Product (Dead on Arrival): If the product is non-functional right out of the box, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving it. The product must remain unused and in its original packaging.
  • Incorrect Item Received: If you received the wrong item, please notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery with your order details.

Important Note: Because we do not accept returns for “change of mind,” please ensure your selection is correct before finalizing your purchase. Returns for transit damage or incorrect items will only be processed if reported within the stipulated 24–48 hour window.

3. Warranty Coverage for Manufacturing Defects

For all physical goods, we provide a standard warranty period (typically 6 to 12 months, depending on the product category) covering internal manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty Exclusions (Seller Protection)

To protect against fraudulent claims or damages resulting from misuse, the warranty is strictly void if the product shows evidence of:

  • Physical impact, drops, accidental cracks, or improper handling after delivery.
  • Liquid ingress, water damage, or internal corrosion caused by improper storage or exposure to humid environments.
  • Electrical burnouts or short circuits caused by power fluctuations, drops, or surges in the local power grid (we strongly recommend the use of a certified surge protector).
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering with the product casing by third-party technicians.

4. The Claims & Evaluation Workflow

To keep disputes to a minimum, any claim must flow through this transparent diagnostic process:

1.Claim Submission:Within the specified window.

Lodge a formal request through our official support channels. You must provide your tax invoice or cash bill, along with video or photographic evidence highlighting the issue.
Email: returns@nextechstore.lk
Phone/WhatsApp: 0722829866

2.Technical Diagnostics:Max 5-7 working days.

The item must be delivered to our designated service center. Our technicians will evaluate whether the root cause is an inherent factory defect or a user-side exclusion (such as a power surge or physical drop).

3.Resolution Fulfillment:Subject to parts availability.

If verified as a factory defect, we will execute a resolution via Repair, Replacement, or Refund (in that order of priority). If diagnostic results prove user error, a paid repair quotation will be issued instead.

5. Authorized Returns Mailing Process

If your return request is approved by our support team, we will provide you with the official return address and detailed shipping instructions via email or messaging. Please do not mail items back until you have received this formal authorization.
